Honduras Missions Trip: Winning Souls for Christ

Church Planting Outreach – International Mission Trip Honduras

International Honduras Mission Trip Honduras with James Young, Lito, and Yolanda, Honduras

International Mission Trip Honduras – Winning Souls for Christ – set the captives free from broken hearts, emotional pain, spiritual pain, physical sickness, and disease through preaching God’s Word according to Luke 4:18 and ministering to those who are hurting in any way the enemy has inflicted pain.

It is my heart and calling to go to other countries preaching, ministering God’s love, deliverance, and healing to those in captivity, and church planting outreach.

James 2:1-7

International Honduras Missions Trip

1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? 5Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? 7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

James Young shares the vision of the City of Refuge at the Radio station, and I Preach the Word of God in Quimistan, Honduras, Northwest Honduras.

We head up the Road to leave the city and go to the TV Station Channel 3

Winning Souls for Christ – International Mission Trip Honduras: This is in Quimistan. Lito, James, and I appear on Jimmy’s TV show on Canal 3 (open link to see station advertising).

Then after the TV show, go to my hotel to prepare for that night to preach in San Jorge, Honduras.

We will leave at about 6 pm for San Jorge where I will preach at 7 pm in what they call a “Culto Especial,” or a special service. They will petition the Lord for what they want to see Him do in 2011 and thank Him for His past blessings. I will be preaching. James forgot to take pictures, so I don’t have any photos of this church except later I do.

And he lifted his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

James 2:5-6

5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you and draw you before the judgment seats?

Place of Stay: The Place I Stayed outside of Quimistan, Hotel Don Miguel. You can see the telephone tower down the street; that is how close Quimistan was to me. I arrived in Honduras on December 29 to view the projects, church, and pastors so that I could bring a team back either in November or December.

The main church I preached.

This is where the wedding and baptism took place, but it was at night.

December 30, 2010 – back to the Airport to pick up my clothes. One of my luggage did not make it, and I had to borrow a shirt to sleep in from Yolanda. She gave me a shirt that said the City of Refuge. Ciudade de Refugio.

Thur. Dec. 30 – In the daytime, we will be touring some of the projects and churches in progress, especially the area in Camalote where the Vision takes place, and you will meet some of the pastors.

At about 4 pm, we will leave for La Flecha, one of our larger churches, where I will have a leader meeting at 5 pm and preach at 6 pm a short message about the vision. You will have time after my presentation to preach your message.

Fri. Dec. 31 – This a great thanksgiving day because I believe this is the day the money will come in as prophesied. In the daytime, we will tour some other projects and churches in progress, and you can meet some other pastors. In the evening about 7 pm, there is a wedding for seven couples in El Ocotal with a fiesta afterward.

Later in the night, from about 10 pm until 2 or 3 in the morning, we will return to Camalote for a “Vigilia” (Vigil). Vigilias are special. The Lord moves after about 11 or 12 pm.

Children of Honduras

Then there was a sermon; then you wrote down what you would like to see happen in 2011 and go outside where they have a fire and burn your prayers so that it goes up like smoke. They sang, and then the spirit of the Lord moved, and you saw people being touched by the Lord, and then we all hugged each other and wished each other a Happy New Year (Feles Anos Nuevo and blessed each other Dios le Bengavia.

Sat. Jan. 1 – We go to La Fletch and visit David, take care of the sugar cane fields, and see the four villages in the area. Later, we go to TV station Channel 3 and get hosted. Lito and James share the vision, and I preach, and the message goes all over the world, especially to Latin America. We were supposed to visit the Christian Radio Station in Quimistan, but only so much you can do in a day. Then that night, go to another town where I would preach again in a church.

Went into another village within the huge sugar cane fields. The ministers go into the villages to lead the people to the Lord and build churches.

One of the churches I preached. Look at the surroundings of the area. Very tropical.

Quimistan, Honduras is where I stayed and was next to where Tito lived.

Agenda: Wed. Dec. 29 – We will attend a combination Baptism and Wedding on 24 de Abril in the afternoon and evening, but we may or may not go to Quimistan first and get you settled into the Hotel. I hope to give a short presentation of the Vision before the wedding starts, if possible, but other than that, we will observe the wedding and participate in the fiesta afterward.

Lito is the primary pastor we spent a lot of time with. He drove us to all the places for me to preach and teach. You will see his neighborhood, home, children, wife, and way of life. James Young lives with Lito and Yolanda who is his wife.

A small village - a lot of witchcraft and all my cameras, videos, etc. broke.

One more church further down, and then we went to the fruit stand to buy fruit and then to Lito’s house to have lunch, and then we left for Quimistan to the internet bar, and he met with an architect on the plans for the Tabernacle.

And then we went into Quimistan and went witnessing. Two people got saved in 15 minutes, and then a person’s knee was healed. You could feel the heat and things moving around in the knee. God is so good. This man could hardly walk and would have to have knee surgery, but God healed him. He gets all the credit.

That night, Lito and Yolanda had a surprise party for me, James, and Michael. They fed us; their leadership was there; they blessed me with blessings, read the word to me, and prayed for me. They prayed for a good trip for me.

Dios le bendiga (God Bless You)

Training and Support

This is our Services section. This is a great place to give more information about the services we offer.

These are complex, confusing times, and though we know that our God is in control and will take care of us, we sometimes feel anxious and worried. We know that, as written in Philippians 4:6, prayer is the answer, but sometimes praying is complex, and you need someone to pray with you. If you need prayer, fill out the form, we pray weekly on Tuesday nights over your prayer request.
