Want prayers of protection over your children? Little children, teenagers going to college, and even young adults are susceptible to a spiritual attack without knowing it, mainly through television, movie films, rock music, unholy friendships, associations, or alliances, or through reading spiritually unhealthy reading materials, among many other things. Also, many schools are doing by confusing children about their sexuality. Many children endure bullying by their peers at school. Then, all the shootings in the past years at schools. The scriptures show us that the eyes, the ears, or the touch senses, among other reasons, can become open gates to the demonic, mainly if the individual or child is passive in his attitude toward these things. He needs to be protected as much as possible.
Children/Teenagers in Public School
Father God, we pray for all children returning to public school or college and pray for their protection:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I lift up __________ to you and pray a hedge of protection around him/her. I thank You, Father, that You are a wall of fire around about __________ and that You have sent Your angels to encamp around about him/her.
I thank You, Father, that __________ dwells in the secret place of the Most High and abides under the shadow of the Almighty. I say of You, Lord, that You are his/her refuge and fortress: his/her God; in You will he/she trust. You cover __________ with Your feathers, and under Your wings shall he/she trust. Your truth shall be his/her shield and buckler.
__________ shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. Only with his/her eyes will he/she behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because _____________ has made You, Lord, his/her refuge and habitation, no evil shall befall him/her—no accident will overtake him/her—neither shall any plague or calamity come near him/her. For You will give Your angels charge over him/her, to keep him/her in all Your ways.
Father, because __________ has set his/her love upon You, therefore will You deliver him/her. He/she shall call upon You, and You will answer him/her.
You will be with __________ in trouble; You will deliver him/her and will satisfy him/her with long life and show him/her Your salvation.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
For teenagers going to college.
Father God, I pray that the ideologies of the colleges will not take my teenager away from the Lord.
Buy beef or chicken that is organic, grass-fed, and grain-finished beef. The prices do not go up for 2 years plus throw in 2 pounds of bacon.
"Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:12"
Lord, I ask that You will rescue, guide, and protect my teen today. Answer them when they call on You, and be with them in times of trouble. I know that Your plans for them are good, and not for their harm. Guard and protect them with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). Amen.
College Students
Dear Lord, I pray for my child who is stepping into a new season on a new college campus this year. I pray You will help him/her with all the logistics of getting classes, meeting professors, setting up financial aid, and moving into housing. Surround him/her with Godly friends who will challenge him to walk more closely with You and guide him to a church where he can serve You while at college. Help him/her to work hard, to study well, and to use this time to develop skills and gifts for Your purposes. As he/she encounters new challenges, help him/her love You with his whole heart. As he/she hears different philosophies that are not godly, help him/her love you with his whole mind. As the enemy prowls around tempting him/her with all manner of worldliness, help him love You with all his/her strength. Give him/her the courage to follow hard after You and to glorify You where You’ve placed him/her.
Lord, I pray my child will feel Your strong presence as he/she ventures out to college. Draw her to You and give him/her a hunger for Your Word that isn’t satisfied anywhere else. Help him/her find a local church where she can grow, be disciplined, and serve and help him/her dig deep in Bible study. Help him/her to guard her own personal time for Bible study and prayer when so much else tries to crowd in and keep him/her from You. As he/she meets challenges and struggles, help him/her turn to You. I pray he/she will stay rooted in You, will flourish as a light for You on campus, and will know how wide and long and high and deep Your love is so that him/her soul is filled to the full measure of You, in Jesus Name, Amen.
