List of Occult Practices -
Occult checklist is a list of modalities that non-Christians and Christians use for health and healing. When did Jesus or the Holy Spirit need modalities for healing? Christians, before involving themselves in a new age or occult modality, do research. Here is an example of questions to ask:
Methods of discernment:
• Who was the founder of this modality?
• What was his/her spirituality?
• What culture did it come out of?
• What were their beliefs?
• Who is their God or gods?
Many occult practices in Christianity need to be discerned. Another method of discernment is the Word of God. The word of God is our measuring stick. The more we read the word, know the word, and have a relationship with the Lord, the more we discern right and wrong. We perish from a lack of knowledge.
If you or your ancestors have participated in any occult activity from the list below and other not on this list, begin by repenting before God and renouncing all involvement in the name of Jesus Christ. Command every demonic spirit associated with that activity to leave in Jesus’ name. Break any ungodly soul ties between yourself and anyone connected to those practices, including participants, leaders, and the locations where the events occurred. Ask the Lord to break every curse that may have entered your life due to these sins, and stand firmly in your authority as a believer in Christ. If you need more help if you have any of these symptoms, you may need one-on-one deliverance ministry. We also have free online group deliverance webinars 2 times a month. Learn more about the deliverance prayer webinar. You may want to get my free ebooks "Unraveling Deliverance..."
Physical objects: Physical objects tied to occult practices can carry spiritual oppression, including curses or demonic attachments. In some cases, these items can be cleansed through prayer—by breaking ungodly ties, anointing them, and covering them with the blood of Jesus. However, more often than not, God may lead you to destroy objects entirely.
General Symptoms of Demonic Intrusion:
Emotional torment
Nightmares or spiritual oppression or heaviness
Seeing shadows, orbs, or unexplained lights
Hearing voices or experiencing confusion
Intrusive or tormenting thoughts
Persistent fear and unease, and more symptoms
Renunciation Prayer
You may need a personal deliverance ministry session if you have done any of these practices.
This is not a complete list of occult practices and new age practices.
Abstract art - Under hallucinogenic stimulus- art produced while under the influence of drugs.
Acupuncture is a treatment used in both Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine. It is based on the principle that energetic pathways, or channels throughout the body, influence associated internal organs and structures. Energy from these pathways surfaces at various points on the body, identified as acupuncture points.
Acupoint Therapy; Acupuncture, and Acupressure (The ancient Chinese philosophy that defines diseases as an imbalance in the flow of ‘life energy.’ In acupuncture needles are inserted into the skin to ‘redirect’ this flow. Acupressure is, as the name implies, the practice of inducing pressure on certain places in the body)
Alchemy (The ancient mystical science of turning base metals into gold and producing the philosophers stone, which held the elixir of life and conferred immortality on those who drank it)
Amulets - Tigers claw, sharks tooth, horseshoe over door, mascots, talisman – objects believed to have magical powers. Superstition.
Angels – Any beliefs in the power of angels to heal, instead of Jesus Christ as the source of the healing. God has ordained many angels for us, but they serve God for a specific purpose, not to become man's companion.
Angel Cards – Demons disguise themselves as angels and can give amazingly accurate predictions that tangle you up in a satanic web of deceit. The demons will provide you with a mixture of truth and lies, to hook you in and lead you to deception.
Ankh—A cross with a ring top used in satanic rites. This symbol originated in Egypt and symbolizes reincarnation. Egyptians were pagans and worshipped many gods, including the sun god Amen-Rah and the pagan sun trinity of Osiris, Isis, and Horus. The Ankh and the common cross were used equally in ancient pagan sun worship.
Applied Kinesiology – A practice developed in 1964 to diagnose energy imbalances or nutritional values by pushing or pulling on different muscles and reading the corresponding weakness. It is divination and universal energy.
Apport - Paranormal transference of an article from one place to another.
Ascended Masters – The belief that deceased religious leaders and mythical beings can be contacted for guidance. Sometimes people include Jesus in this list, which is heresy since Jesus is the Son of God, and not just a human teacher who ascended. Ascended Masters are either demons in disguise or figments of our wishful thinking.
Astral Projection – An out-of-body experience will give us neither truth nor knowledge. If an involuntary out-of-body experience occurs in the life of a Christian, the best approach would be to consider it in the same category as a dream—interesting, perhaps, but not a source of truth. Christians are to find truth only in the words of God, as Jesus prays in John 17:17, “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” From gotquestions.org. In addition, “leaving the body” is spiritually dangerous, and could get you entangled in demonic strongholds.
Astral plane (Another realm or dimension where those who practice astral travel claim to be able to traverse the cosmos)
Ayurveda is a Hindu system of traditional medicine native to India and a form of alternative medicine. It adopted the physics of the ‘five elements’—earth, water, fire, air, and sky—that compose the universe and the human body, which is composed of Chyle or plasma, blood, flesh, fat, bone, marrow, and semen or female reproductive tissue.
Astral travel—This is defined as an out-of-body experience in which your spiritual body is believed to leave your physical body and travel within the spiritual dimension. It is supposed to be done using a counterfeit silver cord. The Godly silver cord is mentioned in Ecclesiastes 12:6 and is the link that breaks upon physical death.

Attitudinal Healing - Attitudinal healing is the regulation or maintenance of physical, "mental," and/or spiritual health by learning "proper" mental attitudes. Because the spirit, mind, and body are interrelated, "proper" mental attitudes may influence the entire person toward desired spiritual, psychological, and/or physical goals.
Augury - Fortune telling by interpreting signs or omens.
Aura reading—An aura is a coloured glow surrounding a person. It can be seen in person or in a photograph. Different colours have different meanings. Readers look at your spiritual energy system, including the layers of your aura, energy channels, chakras, etc.
Automatic writing - Words written while in a trance, directed by a spirit, also called Psychography.
Baal Worship - Baal worship was an ancient Canaanite religion involving rituals, idols, and offerings to Baal, a fertility and storm god. It was condemned in the Bible for idolatry and immoral practices.
Bahai Faith - false religion
Birth signs/star signs/Zodiac - Astrological signs represent twelve equal segments or divisions of the zodiac. Predict a person’s personality based on the positions of the sun, moon, stars, and other planets at birth. In astronomy, the zodiac is the ring of constellations that lines the ecliptic, the Sun's apparent path across the celestial sphere over the year.
Black arts - The belief in magical spells that harness occult forces or evil spirits to produce unnatural effects.
Biofeedback - Biofeedback is often associated with New Age medicine because it aligns with the holistic and mind-body focus common in that movement.
Birthstones - Birthstones are related to various months, each with their own meaning and 'power'. Medieval astrology believes that different stones about an individual's birthdate, based on the planetary alignment of horoscopes, can be considered a good omen, or likely to lead to success. In light of this, the roots of birthstones are occult in origin.
Black magic - The belief in magical spells that harness occult forces or evil spirits to produce unnatural effects.
Black mass - Celebrated worship in honor of satan.
Black Sun - (A Nazi symbol and type of sun wheel)
Blood Letting - Removal of blood to cure or prevent illness or disease. The blood was believed to be a humor that needed to be in its proper balance to maintain health. Humor is the theory that an excess or deficiency of the four bodily fluids (blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile) causes disease. It is bypassing the curse and not getting to the root.
Blood pacts - A solemn and legally binding pact between two or more parties in which blood from each party is placed onto the bottom of the pact next to the signature of each party involved. Amendments to the agreement cannot happen without all former parties.
Books - Anything occult and New Age – yoga, mediums, wicca, white magic, spells, spiritualism, etc…..
Bowen Therapy is a technique that involves gentle soft tissue manipulation. Therapists use their thumbs or fingers to make subtle rolling maneuvers. Bowen therapy aims to trigger a healing response from the body to cure itself better. During a session, practitioners occasionally leave the treatment room to allow the patient's body to absorb messages transmitted by the practitioner via bodywork.
Cartomancy - Fortune-telling or divination using a deck of cards.
Chain letters - A message that advises the recipient to make several copies of the letter and then pass them on to as many recipients as possible. Standard methods used in chain letters include emotionally manipulative stories, get-rich-quickly pyramid schemes, and the exploitation of superstition to threaten the recipient with bad luck or even physical violence or death if he or she "breaks the chain" and refuses to adhere to the conditions set out in the letter.
Chakra cleansing—A chakra is a wheel or vortex of energy. Seven primary chakras flow through a human’s energetic system. The chakras have been called “windows to the soul " because they provide humans with subtle connections into soul consciousness.

Chinese Birth chart—The Chinese Birth Chart is an ancient calendar used to predict the gender of an unborn baby. It was invented near Beijing about 700 years ago. The gender chart calculation is based on the mother's age and month of conception.
Chiropractor - Chiropractic as a profession is defined by the subluxation theory, the belief that disease is caused by impaired nerve flow. A system of diagnosis and treatment based on the concept that the nervous system coordinates all of the body's functions and holds that disease. Chiropractors work to manipulate the spine with their hands to realign the vertebrae and relieve the pressure on the nerves. It was rooted in Eastern Mysticism and founded by Daniel David Palmer (1845-1913), a Freemason & an occultist, after saying he received it from "the other world".
Chrystal H
Clairaudience—The Ability to hear supernormal voices, allegedly those of dead people, giving advice or warnings. This could include telepathic communication, hearing voices, or sensing subtle sounds or vibrations.

Various methods such as a light box with a filter of the required colour, meditation, coloured silks applied directly to the skin, solarised water from coloured containers, colour breathing - breathing in the rainbow and affirming each colour and what each colour stands for, with positive affirmations
Concept therapy concerns itself with changing faulty concepts in consciousness. It uses a positive state of mind to help "innate intelligence" heal the body, thus making any chiropractic technique more effective. Its founder taught that you can make any technique work once you know the "great secret" taught in Concept Therapy.
Cone of power (A method of raising energy in ritual magic)

Cosmology - is the study of the physical universe, which includes the Big Bang theory and a totality of phenomena in time and space.
Course in Miracles – A channeled book, supposedly dictated by Jesus. “The Course” is a mixture of truth (i.e., the importance of forgiving) and lies (there was no crucifixion; there is no sin; and the devil doesn’t exist). The book is designed to pull you away from the faithful Jesus, the Holy Bible, and the gospel. Avoid this book altogether.
Coven - A community of witches.
Creative visualization - Creative visualization is a mental technique that uses the imagination to make dreams and goals come true. Dream interpretation - Using a supernatural gift other than from the Holy Spirit and the Bible.
Dream Catchers – The purpose of a dream catcher is to catch dreams—that is, to trap bad or evil dreams and channel good dreams to the sleeper. New age borrows from many different cultures without realizing the underlying meaning or implications. Dream catchers are usually placed in a window or above the bed, allowing the good dreams to drip down the feathers onto the sleeper below. Essentially, a dream catcher is intended to manipulate the spirit world. Knowing the background of dream catchers and their talisman-like use, many Christians want nothing to do with them. From gotquestions.org
Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy role-playing game. For Christians, a scriptural problem is that it violates the commandment of I Thes. 5:22, "Abstain from all appearance of evil." The materials often contain authentic magical rituals verified by a high priestess .Gary Gygax
Drumming Circles – New age borrows from many cultures, without understanding the underlying meanings and implications. A drumming circle ceremony involves several people beating drums, usually outside during a new or full moon. The rhythmic drum beats result in a trance state, usually accompanied by prayers said to the moon. Worshipping the moon or other creations is forbidden and spiritually dangerous. We should direct all of our prayers to God and avoid going into trances, which could make us susceptible to demonic intrusion.
Earth Mysteries (A wide range of pseudoscientific, spiritual, and quasi-religious ideas focusing on cultural and religious beliefs about the Earth)
Ectoplasm - Stuff that allegedly oozes from ghosts or spirits and makes it possible for them to materialise and perform feats of telekinesis, such as lifting tables in the dark. In the heyday of séances—the 19th and early 20th centuries—ectoplasm oozed from various orifices of mediums.
Electromagnetic Therapy (See also Quantum Therapy) - Electromagnetic therapy is based on the belief that an imbalance of the electromagnetic frequencies or energy fields in the human body can cause illness. Electromagnetic therapy is applied to the body to correct these imbalances. There are various electrical devices available to treat a variety of symptoms. These include low-voltage electricity, magnetic fields, radio waves, or other types of electromagnetic energy. Not all mainstream scientists accept this type of healing as science and are instead labelled as pseudoscience. Pseudoscience is a claim, belief, or practice incorrectly presented as scientific but does not adhere to a valid scientific method, cannot be reliably tested, or lacks scientific status. Electromagnetic therapy is based on the basic principles of Quantum physics. +

Findhorn Community—Belief: The principles of inner listening and co-creation with nature are set within the context of being of service to the world. Gnosis/Chaos magic (In chaos magic, gnosis refers to an altered state of consciousness in which the mind is focused on only one point, one thought, or one goal, and all other thoughts are pushed out. This is because the conscious mind, apparently, gets in the way of the working of magic, so the gnostic state is an attempt to bypass the "filter" of the conscious mind)
Gothic rock music—Gothic rock (also known as goth rock or simply goth) is a subgenre of post-punk and alternative rock that originated in the late 1970s.

Holistic pulsing - Rocking, stretching, and lengthening techniques are applied. As the body’s inner flow is amplified by constant movement, so are the energy blocks. Areas where the flow of movement stops or changes may indicate tension or blockages due to injury, trauma, or habitual holding patterns. Depending on your intention at the session's start, these may be explored and released through inner awareness, spontaneous movement, breath, and sound. The resulting insight and awareness are a catalyst for proper healing.
Homeopathy is based on the principle that “like cures like," meaning that small, highly diluted quantities of medicinal substances are given to cure symptoms. The container is a key element of the composition, and various pottery styles may be used in its construction. The truth about the origin of Ikebana is unknown. However, when Buddhism reached Japan in the 7th century, it was thought to have come to Japan as part of Buddhist practice. The offering of flowers on the altar honoring Buddha was part of worship. Ikebana evolved from the Buddhist ritual of offering flowers to the spirits of the dead.

As individuals practice these disciplines, such instructors expect them to harmonize with the supposed "laws" of this "spiritual" realm. These philosophies assume that the universe is "divine" and that this "divinity" also permeates and indwells each human being. Man was created to have a personal relationship with his Creator and was never intended to be self-sufficient. Therefore, Man's authority and power can be derived only through a close dependence upon his Creator and never from any element or substance within himself. +

Mercury Retrograde – The belief that the planet Mercury “dances” backwards three times a year. Metatron’s Cube – Supposedly the “sacred geometry” held by an angel named Metatron (mentioned in Jewish legend, but not in the Holy Bible).
Mediums - A practice in which a person claims to be an intermediary between the physical and spiritual worlds. They use a familiar spirit that aids them in doing this. A familiar spirit is a guardian spirit and is demonic. +
Mediumship – The attempt to contact a deceased person, usually to receive a message and comfort from grief. Demons pretend to be your departed loved one, giving some accurate message that only you could know. This hooks people into mediumship readings, which gives the demons license to enter your life at a time when you’re vulnerable from grief.
Medicine Man - A male shaman or shamanistic healer, especially among Native Americans.
Meditation - The activities, outcomes, and objectives associated with meditation, such as engaging in a daily meditative routine, experiencing altered states of consciousness, manifesting psychic abilities, awakening kundalini energy, and establishing contact with spirits, all fall under the broader umbrella of occult practices, outcomes, and objectives. These pursuits collectively align with the wider scope of the occult world. +
Mental telepathy - Communication from one mind to another without sensory perceptions.
Mesmerism - Sometimes called Animal magnetism, this is based on the concept of 'magnetic fluid' being channeled through the laying on hands. The belief is that the sun, moon, and fixed stars mutually affect each other in their orbits; that they cause and direct in our earth a flux and reflux not only in the sea, but in the atmosphere, and affect similarly all organized bodies through the medium of a subtle and mobile fluid, which pervades the universe and associates all things together in mutual intercourse and harmony, and this, in turn, could heal the sick and cure the blind.
Metaphysics—Study of spirit world—Metaphysics is often defined as "the philosophical study of that which cannot be perceived with the five physical human senses." The term meta means "above," and physics refers to the "physical" in Latin. Therefore, metaphysics literally means "above what is physical." Necromancy (Involves communication with the deceased – either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them bodily – for divination, imparting the means to foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge)
Neti Pot (A pot used for irrigating the sinuses - used in Yoga for purification and found in Hinduism. The neti is one of six purification techniques performed before practicing yoga to prepare the body for the yoga practice. In this sense, it is occult. Modern medicine has many other forms of irrigation systems for cleaning the sinuses, which are fine when there is no spiritual element involved and are based on simply clearing micro-organisms from the nasal cavity to clear out infections and prevent colds, etc. +
Neopaganism (Western religious system that is associated with the worship of nature and the lunar goddess, the occult, ancient Greek or Egyptian religions, ceremonial magic, witchcraft or Druidism) • Neotantra (The belief that sex should be considered and recognized as a sacred act capable of lifting its participants to a higher spiritual plane)
New Age Medicine - bypassing the curse of God and not looking at the spiritual roots of disease.
New Thought (Infinite intelligence [God] is everywhere, all reality is divine, human selfhood is divine, divine thought is a force for good and ‘right thinking’ has a healing effect because all sickness originates in the mind)
Numerical symbolism (Involves suggestions springing from the use of numbers)
Numerology (The branch of knowledge that deals with the occult significance of numbers)
Obeah /Obi (In the West Indies, a name applied to folk magic and witchcraft) • Occult games (Basically satanic rituals)

Occultic games (Computer, board game, etc, such as Ouija boards, Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft)
Occult letters of protection (Also known as the Ritual Circle). In the occult, a circle always represents a boundary of power. If you see a symbol enclosed in a circle, it is most often a symbol of the occult. It is a common practice for those who claim to have out-of-body experiences to draw a circle around their bodies before leaving so that nothing else can enter it while they are away.
Occult Books.* Such books should be burned, regardless of cost.
Omens (An observable event or action about the future).

Oracle (A shrine where an oracular god is consulted, then prophecy (usually obscure or allegorical) is revealed by a priest or priestess; believed to be infallible)
Ouija boards (A board used as a focus point in communicating with the spirit realm).
Paganism (Celebrates the Earth, living creatures, nature, etc. It means she or he follow an Earth or nature religion that sees the divine manifest in all creation. Paganism is polytheistic, as the ancient Romans and Greeks, which teaches many or no gods. Paganism does not have one main religious text or belief to follow. Some pagans believe in Jesus as one of the gods, but do not put significance in Him as Christians do. Paganism is neither Christian, Jewish, nor Muslim)
Pantheism – Pantheism is the view that God is everything and everyone and that everyone and everything is God. A tree is God, a rock is God, an animal is God, the sky is God, the sun is God, you are God, etc. Pantheism is the supposition behind many cults and false religions. Does the Bible teach pantheism? No, it does not. What many people confuse as pantheism is the doctrine of God’s omnipresence. God’s omnipresence means He is present everywhere. There is no place in the universe where God is not present. This is not the same thing as pantheism. God is everywhere, but He is not everything. Yes, God is “present” inside a tree and inside a person, but that does not make that tree or person God. Pantheism is not at all a biblical belief. From gotquestions.org
Pagan fetishes (objects charged with magical powers and carried about as a means of protection or luck)
Pagan religious objects, artifacts, and relics
Pagan rites (Voodoo (West Indies), Sing Sings (New Guinea), Corroborees (Aust. Aboriginals), fire walking (Fiji, India), Umbahada and Macumba (Brazil), etc.’ Also, visits to shows by Iri Geller or Matthew Manning demonstrating psychic powers )

Pk/ Parakineses (Control of objects by the power of the mind and will)
Parapsychology (PS) (The use of scientific methods to study paranormal psychological phenomena, such as extra-sensory perception, psychokinesis, and survival of consciousness after death)
Past-Life Regression – While the Bible never addresses reincarnation specifically, it is clear that the biblical model of life, death, and afterlife is incompatible with any form of reincarnation as posited in religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, and certain New Age or Neo-Pagan belief systems. In Hebrews 9:27-28, we are told that “just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” This passage alone appears to eliminate the possibility of remembering past lives/reincarnation. Past-life memories can be the product of your imagination or demons feeding you visions. From gotquestions.org
Passing through the fire (Children sacrificed to Molech by fire – death)
Pendulum diagnosis (Diving rod, crystal, or any object hung from a string used as a means for seeking answers or hypnosis, etc.) (If this has been used for seeking the sex of a baby, break all adverse effects and soul ties over the child)
Pentacle (An object/talisman usually made of metal, cloth, paper or parchment, [although it can be of other materials] upon which a magical design is drawn such as the five-pointed star enclosed in a circle, used in Wicca and witchcraft) • Pentagram (A five-pointed star that can be arranged with points upwards or points downwards. The points upwards in witchcraft represent the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water, and the fifth point is the spirit controlling the elements. If pointed down, it is associated with black magic and Satanism)
Pharmakeia (click here)
Phrenology (The science that studies the relationships between a person's character and the skull's morphology. Science that endeavors to read a person's character from the shape, particularly the skull's peaks and valleys. It was begun by Franz Joseph Gall (1758-1828). Closely related is the science of Physiognomy (Greek for nature and interpreter), an effort to understand the mind and personality by evaluating various facial traits, such as the nose, eyes, chin, and cheekbone shape; in short, judging people by their faces.
Pokemon - a demonic game.
Planchette (A triangular board supported on casters; when lightly touched with the fingertips, it is supposed to spell out supernatural (or unconscious) messages)
Polarity Therapy (Polarity therapy involves balancing the body's energy flow to improve or maintain health. The chiropractor and osteopath Randolph Stone developed it. It is also known as polarity balancing and polarity energy balancing. It is influenced by the concepts of energy flow used in Ayurvedic medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. Still, it differs from those types of medicine regarding its theory that positive and negative energy charges in the body's electromagnetic energy field govern energy flow. Several techniques are used in Polarity Therapy, including bodywork and stretching exercises, to balance energy flow and restore health to the body.
Polytheism – Polytheism is the belief that there are many gods. The Bible teaches against polytheism. Deuteronomy 6:4 tells us, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.” Psalm 96:5 declares, “For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.” James 2:19 says, “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” There is only one God. There are false gods and those who pretend to be gods, but only one God exists. From gotquestions.org

Psychic (Sensitive to influence or forces of non-physical or supernatural nature- mediums, fortune tellers etc.)
Psychic healing (A person who cures mental or physical illness from the Universal Life Energy emanating through the healer's hands)
Psychic Readings – There’s a reason why God forbids fortune tellers and mediums: because he loves us! God knows that psychic information comes from demonic sources. Some of it will be accurate, and some will be ego-stroking, or offer false hope about the future. That’s how demons hook us in, and get us addicted to psychic readings. Instead, turn to God as your only source of guidance so you can be on the path that he has planned for you.
Psychic sight (The ability to see things even when the eyes are closed or, in some instances, when the person is blind)
Psychic surgery (Without a surgical instrument, a practitioner will press the tips of his/her fingers against the patient's skin in the area to be treated. The practitioner's hands penetrate the patient's body painlessly, and blood seems to flow. The practitioner will then show organic matter or foreign objects removed from the patient's body, clean the area, and then end the procedure with the patient's skin showing no wounds or scars.

Quantum Therapy/Electomagnetic Therapy - The key concepts of quantum physics teach us that we are connected by a mysterious energy called the Zero Point Energy Field. Quantum theory, or Quantum Physics, is the theoretical basis of modern physics that explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level. +
Rebirthing (a form of psychotherapy in which the subject supposedly ‘relives’ the experience of being born, to confront and overcome traumas and anxieties stemming from birth)
Reflexology (This was discovered around 1913 by Dr. William Fitzgerald, who introduced zone therapy to the US. His method was based on Chinese acupressure. Reflexology practitioners claim that ten zones run from the hands and feet that correspond to the internal organs. The therapy involves massaging the hand or foot corresponding to the internal organ, with the resultant relaxation or relief of pain of the associated internal organ. Supposedly, it works because energy channels run from the hands and feet to the body's inner organs. When pressure is applied to these points, calcified deposits (“crystals”) are crushed and removed from the body, resulting in better blood flow. This is a new age belief, also known as monism, the idea that all is one (or pantheism, the idea that God and the universe are inseparable). This idea originates from the Chinese notions of yin and yang, as well as the five elements theory. These say that the Ch’i (also written Qi) or universal life force can flow properly once these calcified deposits are removed.
Reincarnation (The rebirth of a soul in a new body)
Reiki practitioners believe that everyone has the potential to access the universal life energy, but that over time, most people's systems become blocked and the energy becomes weakened. A reiki practitioner is trained to be able to detect these blockages, and practitioners will use their hands, thoughts, and own energy fields to improve the energy flow in a patient *Quantum Healing bank - Energy field above ones head and can be used by oneself or another, and can be stored and later drawn upon.
Remote viewing (The ability to see events at a distance without leaving the room, as in astral projection)
Rhabdomancy (Divination for water or mineral ore using a rod or wand; dowsing; divining)
Runes (Runes are letters used in the earliest Germanic and Nordic alphabets. They are a set of related alphabets known as the runic alphabet. They are used to communicate hidden mystical messages. They are the symbols we may see engraved on old Egyptian coffins. The linking of specific runes to the sun, moon, and other sky gods, and the art of funerary rune carvings, led to the belief that runes embodied supernatural powers to protect, avenge, and foretell the future. Even in today's society, runes are still used. We see the symbols in earth, air, water, fire, protection, fertility, and many more.
Sacred Geometry – The belief that we gain supernatural power from looking at, or wearing, geometric patterns. We don’t. The only power that exists comes from God. Looking outside of God for power, wisdom, or special favors is called “idolatry,” which God clearly forbids.
Sacred Land (Walking onto cursed or holy land, buildings, etc.) (PRAY - “I repent for walking on land deemed sacred or cursed. I forgive all people for the curses placed, and I bless them. I break all curses that resulted from this by washing my feet with the blood of Jesus Christ”).

Self-hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of mind that can be defined as a heightened state of focused concentration (trance), with the willingness to follow instructions (suggestibility).
Shamanism – Shamanism is a counterfeit, anti-Christian worldview in which the intermediary between the natural and the supernatural is called a shaman. Shamanism is related to animism, the belief that spirits inhabit the physical world and the spiritual realm. Animism is one of the oldest existing belief systems and is found in many tribal communities, ancient and modern, worldwide. It is seeing a comeback today in neo-shamanistic groups. As Christians, we do not put stock in shamans, the rituals they perform, or the talismans they wield. Rather, our trust is in the power of the Word of God (Hebrews 4:12), the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:4), and the power of the gospel (Romans 1:16). From gotquestions.org
Shape shifting (This person can shapeshift with the help of demons. I believe this is spiritual and done using astral cords, mind control, etc.......This is because they allow a demon or even satan himself to enter them. Calling a shifter a "Were" also works because it can be short for werewolf, weretiger, werefox, werecoyote, or their particular phenotype. It implies they can change their shape, usually into an animal form. There are three types: Lycanthropes, Therianthropes, and Polymorphs. Lycanthropes: They can become a full-fledged four-legged wolf or a werewolf. Therianthropes: People who transform themselves into other animal forms. Therianthropes include the weretigers, werefoxes, werebears, and so on. Polymorphs: They can appear as a mixed hybrid of all their combined phenotypes. An example of a polymorph would be a person who could shift into a creature that is part human, tiger, and eagle.
Sigil (A symbol used in magic. The term usually refers to a pictorial signature of a spirit or deity. In Chaos magic the term ‘sigil’ refers to a symbolic representation of the practitioner's desired outcome.
Significant pagan days (The Pagan and Wiccan holidays are based upon agricultural and astronomical markers, such as solstices, equinoxes, and planting/harvest dates. Some are the same yearly, and others change based on the Earth's rotation.
Silva Mind Control (SMC - Psychorientology) (The Silva Method was devised by Jose Silva (1914-99). Silva developed the technique of ‘alphagenetics’, which aimed to create the ‘right-hand side of the brain’, as opposed to the left. Silva believed that 90 per cent of people were ‘left-brained’, relying on their brain’s beta-waves, and their logical, rational abilities. Alphagenetics sought to develop alpha-waves in the brain, enabling the development of intuition and imagination, allowing people to take control of their lives, surmount personal problems, and develop psychic powers.
Solstice (The time when the sun reaches its maximum distance from the equator, in summer and winter. People gather on those days at certain sites such as Stonehenge among others to conduct rituals and celebrate nature and the sun)
Somatic Therapy (Somatic therapy was developed by Thomas Hanna in 1976. Hanna was a follower of Moshe Feldenkrais, a twentieth-century physicist who developed the Feldenkrais method based on the philosophy that all movement, thought, speech, and feelings reflect one's self-image. Because the Feldenkrais practitioner believes there is no separation between mind and body, they believe that if one learns to move better, one can improve oneself on various levels. +
Soaking Prayer - is a type of meditation that takes you to an altered state.
Soothsayer (Another name for a fortune-teller)
Sorcery/Sorcerer (The use of magic, hidden arts, spells, enchantment with drugs) - Sorcery – Sorcery, the use of spells, divination, or speaking to spirits, is condemned in the Bible. The word sorcery in Scripture is always used to refer to an evil or deceptive practice. The book of Revelation says that sorcerers “will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death” (Revelation 21:8; see also Revelation 22:15). Sorcery is sinful and is not to be part of Christian living. There is a wisdom that is “earthly, unspiritual, of the devil” (James 3:15), and this is what sorcery offers. Our wisdom comes from God (James 3:17), not from deceiving spirits. The power of God is much greater than the power of sorcery (1 John 4:4). From gotquestions.org
Soul travel (Similar in nature to astral projection, it is when the soul moves out of the body and is able to move short distances from the body)
Spells (A form of words used as a magical charm or incantation)
Spirit knockings or rappings (Poltergeist activity with knocking noises and moving objects)
Spiritism/Spiritualism (Communication with the spirit realms in the belief that the dead can communicate with the living, usually through a medium. The spirits that are contacted are usually familiar spirits disguising themselves as the dead in an attempt to deceive those who have lost loved ones and are desperately seeing answers)
Spirit Guides – The general idea is that there exist benevolent spirits who desire to help people or “guide” them through life. Belief in spirit guides is commonly associated with New Age, pagan, and spiritualistic belief systems. Despite the claims of New Age practitioners, spirit guides are anything but benevolent. They are not the spirits of dear, departed loved ones, nor are they ascended masters who have crossed over some mystical plane. They are what the Bible calls “familiar spirits” (Leviticus 20:27, NKJV). They don’t announce their evil nature but portray themselves as beneficial. Second Corinthians 11:14–15 says, “Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness.” Satan’s lies are most effective when they look and sound like the truth, when they seem helpful. Spirit guides are demonic spirits who masquerade as helpers to trap and destroy people with false teachings and occult practices. From gotquestions.org

Stigmata - occultic types (Stigmata itself is bodily marks, sores, or sensations of pain in locations corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus, such as the hands and feet. In some cases, rope marks on the wrists have accompanied the wounds on the hands. The term originates from the line at the end of Saint Paul's Letter to the Galatians, where he says, "I bear on my body the marks of Jesus." +
Succubus (A demon assuming the female sex to have sexual intercourse with men)
Supernatural healer - (Any supernatural healing other than Jesus Christ as the source)
Superstitions (A belief, practice, or rite irrationally maintained by ignorance of the laws of nature or by faith in magic or chance)
Sweat Lodges – New agers have borrowed from many cultures, including Native American customs. In new age sweat lodges, participants sit on the floor of a closed tent with no light or ventilation. Inside the tent is a campfire of charcoal bricks, with water periodically poured over the hot bricks to create steam. This intense environment is supposed to help people have visions. However, the visions are usually related to Shamanism, spirit guides, and other new age ideas that are ripe for demonic manipulation. In addition, sweat lodges can be physically dangerous, and some people have died during this practice.
Sympathetic magic (The theory that objects once connected to a person still contain some of the person’s life force and can be manipulated by magic to affect the person)
Table tipping (table turning) is a type of séance in which participants sit around a table, place their hands on it, and wait for rotations. The table was purportedly made to communicate with the spirits; the alphabet would be slowly called over, and the table would tilt at the appropriate letter, thus spelling out words and sentences.
Tachyon Energy Healing (Tachyon energy is speculated to be the creative and sustaining force of all life, which requires a certain balance of energy to sustain itself. The name was coined in 1967 by Gerald Feinberg, a Physicist who speculated that tachyons were particles that travel faster than light. Feinberg was identified as a Columbia professor whose “main interests are elementary particles and quantum field theory. Mainstream science believes faster-than-light particles cannot exist because they are inconsistent with the known laws of physics. +

Tarot cards and Angel cards (Picture cards for fortune telling)
Tae Kwon - Taekwondo is a Korean martial art and a way of life, not a religion. It focuses on self-defense, self-discipline, and physical fitness, with principles like courtesy, integrity, and perseverance. Tae Bo - Tae Bo is a high-intensity fitness program that combines martial arts movements with aerobic exercise, designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, and muscular endurance. It was popularized in the 1990s by Billy Blanks and is known for its energetic routines and full-body workout. The concept of Tae Bo being "not of God" is a subjective interpretation related to personal faith and beliefs, rather than a definitive theological or scientific statement

Tk -telekinesis (The ability to move objects at a distance by mental power or other nonphysical means)
Telepathy (Communication between the mind of one person with the mind of another without the use of any normal means of communication) • Therapeutic Touch (Counterfeit of the Biblical ‘laying on of hands’ Delores Krieger developed this. It is a New Age energy manipulation and energy transfer technique using occult power) • Thought transference (The transference of thought by extrasensory means from the mind of one individual to another)
Theurgy (the practice of rituals, sometimes seen as magical, performed to invoke the action or evoke the presence of one or more deities, especially to achieve henosis [union with the divine] and perfect oneself)
Third Eye (The third eye refers to the gate that leads to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. In New Age spirituality, the third eye often symbolizes a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply personal spiritual or psychological significance. UFO fixation (A group of people who believe in extraterrestrial beings from other planets, including visitations)
Unicorns – The devil can use neon-colored unicorn images to mesmerize us into his kingdom, where glitter substitutes for the bright light of Jesus. Remember that the devil always copies God, using poor quality substitutes. Whether or not unicorns existed in the past (and the KJV Bible uses the term unicorn in place of oxen), we must be cautious about sparkly enticements that the devil places before us. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and guidance about having unicorn images in your home.
Universalism – The belief that everyone goes to heaven sounds like our idea of what a loving God should offer to everyone. Yet, we are told that only those who follow the 10 Commandments perfectly can be saved. Can anyone do this? No, we are all sinners who break these commands. That’s why sinless Jesus offers to be our Lord and Savior. He is the doorway to heaven and eternal salvation. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). For more information, please read: https://www.gotquestions.org/universalism.html
Vibrational Medicine - Explore vibrational medicine, its spiritual risks, and why true healing comes through Jesus Christ, not occult energy-based practices.
Visualization - Visualization has roots in ancient spiritual practices, like meditation and shamanism. Modern use grew from 20th-century psychology—pioneered by Carl Jung and later used in sports and self-help—blending imagination, belief, and mental rehearsal.

Warlock (A male version of a witch, wizard, magician, or conjurer)
White magic (It is the use of the force of witchcraft for reasons of light as opposed to negative reasons)
Wicca – Wicca is a neo-pagan religion that is growing in popularity and acceptance in the United States and Europe. Many websites and books are claiming to teach “real” Wicca, but the truth is, there is no consensus among Wiccans as to what the religion is all about. This is because Wicca, as it is practiced now, is only about 50 years old. Wicca is a belief system that Briton Gerald Gardner cobbled together in the 1940s and 1950s from various religious traditions, beliefs, and Freemason rituals. One major factor contributing to the abiding fascination with Wicca is the purported use of spells and magick (a deliberate misspelling intended to separate Wiccans from magicians and illusionists). Curiosity seekers, as well as spiritual neophytes, are most eager to delve into these mysteries. Not all Wiccans practice witchcraft, but those who do claim magick is to them what prayer is to a Christian. The difference between the two is that Wiccans claim magick is simply using their minds to control matter or appealing to their favorite deity to do them a favor. At the same time, Christians call upon an omnipotent, omnipresent God to heal people, intervene, and work in their lives. From gotquestions.org
Witch (A male or female who uses occult powers to accomplish what they consider to be good or evil)
Worship dead - Ancestral worship (ancestral worship is that the departed ones don't die, even though their human bodies fail -- they continue living in the invisible "Kingdom of the Dead," from which they can often influence events that occur within the world. That's why many families provide food, awamori, and on certain occasions, kabijin (money-like paper) at the family tomb or family altar in honor of their departed ancestors.
Windchimes (The earliest known wind-chimes can be traced back to 1100 B.C. China. It was believed throughout Southeast Asia that bells promoted peace and good health. Bells are significant in Buddhism, a critical “part of honoring the Three Jewels or Three Treasures;” the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha (Naillon). Buddhists attached wind chimes and wind bells to the eaves of sacred religious structures to create an almost deafening sound in the wind. Wind chimes in Asia and the ancient Mediterranean attract good spirits and ward off evil ones. Many people consider wind chimes to be good luck. Wind chimes are thought to have a healing effect on the mind and body and are often used in Feng Shui regarding the chi energy flow.
Wishes – (These are things such as breaking the wishbone on a chicken and wishing, people throwing coins into wishing wells, wishing on eyelashes, and children blowing out the candles on birthday cakes after making a wish. Wishing on shooting stars and ladybugs. Wishing on specific number combinations. A white horse crossing a person’s path causes them to make a wish. Picking dandelions, blowing all the seeds off, and making wishes. The Irish believed in leprechauns and believed they granted wishes if they caught one. +
Witchcraft (The practice of magic, esp. black magic; the use of spells and the invocation of spirits)

Yoga (A Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures) is widely practiced for health and relaxation. There are many different kinds of yoga. Kundalini Yoga is the awakening or release of the latent female energy believed to lie coiled at the base of the spine. The origins of yoga are pagan. Yoga stems from the Vedas - the Indian holy texts from around 1900 BC. Besides yoga, three major religions came from those texts - Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. The goal of yoga stretches, exercises, and mental techniques is to connect you with a false 'god' or 'energy', or to discover that you are god ('god is everything'). The agenda behind New Age beliefs is to get people’s focus off the true God and back on themselves (or another false god or belief system). The word 'yoga' literally means 'to join' or 'to unite' and is connected with a sense of 'being' or 'deity'. In yoga, many different deities are linked with the practice, you could join or unite with.
